RWDC to build $260M PHA plant in Georgia
Georgia bioplastics startup RWDC Industries Ltd. will invest $260 million in Athena, Ga., on a new production site to make polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) polymers from used cooking oil.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 870292.
