TotalEnergies Corbion to Present Its PLA Bioplastics Portfolio at Chinaplas


TotalEnergies Corbion will be present at Chinaplas, 17-20 April 2023 in Shenzhen, China, showcasing its Luminy® PLA bioplastics portfolio - its innovation, contribution to circularity, and end of life solutions.
75% Lower Carbon Footprint than Traditional Plastics
As a biopolymer, PLA is produced from sugar cane, and has a 75% lower carbon footprint than traditional plastics. Polylactic acid is also industrially compostable and recyclable. The presence of TotalEnergies Corbion at Chinaplas, represents a key commitment to support the transition to a low carbon economy for Greater China.
